PC strand is extensively utilized in various prestressed concrete structures, both in pre-tensioning and post-tensioning applications. Each coil of Huayongxin PC strand undergoes a rigorous series of tests to ensure it meets the demands and expectations of our clients. Mechanical tests, Break Strength tests, Metallurgy analysis, Chemical Analysis, Cross Section Magnification, Relaxation tests, Corrosive Environment assessments, and more are conducted to ensure that our clients receive nothing but the highest quality product. Furthermore, the standard geometric properties of each coil of PC strand are thoroughly tested to guarantee our unwavering quality standard.

One notable area of focus is the Relaxation Test conducted in a temperature-controlled environment. Our average relaxation values are outstanding, with approximately 1.5% relaxation after 1000 hours for a 70% Breaking Load and 2.2% - 2.5% relaxation for an 80% Breaking Load. These results surpass international standards and reflect our dedication to providing superior products worldwide.

We also regularly conduct Bond Strength and Transmission Length tests. In line with the industry standards set by fib (Fédération internationale du béton / International Federation for Structural Concrete) and PTI (Post-Tensioning Institute, USA), we perform the deflected tensile test, commonly known as the 'one pin test.' This test assesses the tensile strength of the strand when stressed around a pin. Huayongxin is fully committed to conducting these tests internally to demonstrate the suitability of our strand for multi-axial stressing applications.

Our Stay Cable strand, designed for use in bridge cables, undergoes a rigorous 2 million cyclic Fatigue Test. Huayongxin PC strand is specifically engineered to excel in this demanding test, demonstrating its exceptional durability and performance.

Furthermore, Huayongxin has the capability to produce galvanized strand, PE coated strand, and epoxy-coated strand for diverse applications. We utilize high-quality polymers that offer excellent chemical stability, high impact resistance, rigidity, resistance to creep, resistance to rough abrasion, and stability at high temperatures.

To ensure the safe transportation of our PC strand, we package it in standard coils weighing 3 tonnes (other coil weights are also available), providing protective wrapping to withstand long shipment durations. The coils are typically palletized and placed eye-to-sky (or side-to-side if preferred). Upon request, we can apply additional corrosion protection. Test lengths may be packaged outside the strapping for easy access or separately cut and wrapped with individual pack identity labels, then shipped inside the eye of the pack. This meticulous packaging ensures that clients receive the PC strand in pristine condition, ready for immediate use.
